Welcome to the Langes' website! Here you will find information about our family and ministry with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Peru. We work hard to keep the site updated at least once a month with new photos and reports. Thanks for stopping by!

A few months back, a group from Moody Radio came to Peru and interviewed some of our workmates in Huanuco.  Percy, an Ambo-Pasco Quechua man, was trained by Marty in editing audio on a computer two years ago.  Marty has continued working with Percy and others in Huanuco, encouraging them to keep going with their radio programs and providing them with more training.

The interview is about 9 minutes long.  It may take a minute for it to start streaming, depending on your internet connection.

Today is the first day of 2010.  We celebrated last night by staying up until midnight and lighting sparklers at the park.  The kids really enjoyed staying up late!  Grandma and Grandpa Lange are here with us - it's nice to have family with us.  This next year promises a lot of changes for our family.  We are leaving Peru in late June.  We will be spending our furlough in Juneau, Alaska.  Another move, more changes.  Please keep us in your prayers as we wrap up here in Peru and prepare for another change.

Happy New Year! - Marty

We went to Pucusana (poo-koo-sah-nah) this weekend with the Smith family.  Pucusana is just over an hour away from our house in Lima.  We bought fresh Dolphin fish (usually called Mahi-Mahi) from the boat that was unloading it.  Click here to see the photos.
